NTE (National Training Event) exists to help uni students lift their eyes beyond the busyness of campus life – to meet Jesus, be shaped by his gospel, and learn how to live for him at uni and beyond.
Gather with uni students from across Australia at NTE2026!
In a world full of noise and competing claims, spend time hearing from the Bible and seeing how God speaks clearly, confidently, and graciously today. Through main sessions, strand groups, electives, and shared life, at NTE you’ll be transformed by the gospel, trained in the gospel, and sent with the gospel back to your campus.
As Kevin DeYoung and Pete Sorrenson open the Scriptures with us, you’ll grow in trust in God’s Word and confidence to listen, live, and speak as followers of Jesus.
Walk up is one way we share the Gospel on campus! We meet near Campus Centre at lunchtime to pray and then go off in pairs to engage strangers on campus in conversation about God, faith and the Gospel. It's a way to connect with the campus and share our faith in an open and warm way that encourages them to consider their beliefs and contemplate the reality of Christianity.
We would love everyone to come to Walk Up! You don't need to be the best evangelist or have a brain full of theological knowledge; all you need is to be willing and excited to share the Gospel.
If it is your first time, or you feel a bit unsure/rusty, no stress! You will be paired with an experienced CUer who will show you the ropes :) We especially encourage you to sign up and give it a go for the first week, even if you can't commit to coming the whole semester.
FOCUS stands for Fellowship of Overseas Christian Union Students. All international students are welcome, whether you are a Christian or not. We are committed to coming together to read, teach and learn from the Bible, and to grow in relationship with God. FOCUS is a part of Christian Union.
